Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is a great game for gamers who love the the Assassin's Creed series. It is a continuation of Assassin's Creed 2, where you play as Ezio, an Italian assassin out to avenge his father. As you kill important aristocrats in Rome, you will gain help from Leonardo Da Vinci and his unique weaponry, from poison darts to parachutes. You can also receive help from Niccolo Machiavelli and your fraternity of assassins to aid in completing your objectives, such as finding Templar treasure or another secret fraternity's lair.

AC: Brotherhood has amazing gameplay. As you scale buildings and jump from rooftop to rooftop, there are surprises and secrets around every turn and in every corner. You will kill aristocrats and priests, interrogate cardinals, secretly follow informants, and use your clever assassins to do your dirty work.

The multiplayer is an amazing experience as well. You can level up and gain abilities like poison, a freezing ability, and disguise. As you level up you will unlock hidden characters like the thief, blacksmith, and smuggler. There are different color types and increased gear options, so you can customize your character however you like . There are also two multiplayer downloadable updates, Animus Project Update 1.0 and Animus Project Update 2.0. They give you new maps and new exclusive games like Capture The Chest, where one team tries to capture the chest the other team tries to assassinate the capturing team: and Assassinate, where the player, as an assassin, must mark who they think are the other players and then to carry out the action of assassinating them. Both Animus Project Update 1.0 and Animus Project Update 2.0 are great multiplayer updates, the only downside is that you can only download either update 1.0 or 2.0, not both.

New downloadable missions like The Da Vinci Disappearance, and the Copernicus Conspiracy are great for people who have finished the game and want more gameplay, since the extra missions lengthen the experience of slitting throats and stabbing backs that anyone would enjoy. For example, The Da Vinci Disappearance follows Ezio as he discovers that Leonardo da Vinci is missing and shows the untold story of what happened to him from the disappearance to the discovery. The second downloadable mission pack is Copernicus Conspiracy, which is exclusive to PS3 (sorry Xbox). It again follows Ezio as he and his brotherhood of assassins unearth conspiracies and plotting against the Vatican, but this time it's to help and protect Nicolaus Copernicus, a famous Polish astronomer who discovered the concept of heliocentricism. Missions include couriering, protection, and assassinations, of course.

With hours of gameplay, extra missions you can download, and multiplayer, your eyes will be glued to the television and your butt to your chair. This is a game you would want to get, easily worth paying $24.99 for.
